Black British Book Festival (BBBF)

BBC Radio 6 Music Festival

BBC Radio 6 Music Festival will return to Manchester for the third consecutive year! The stations largest event will see global premieres of brand-new live shows, new music debuts, unique collaborations and surprise guests. Artists such as Ezra Collective, Mogwai, Kae Tempest, and more including live DJ sets from Sherelle, English Teacher and Tom Ravenscroft. These won’t just be standard performances, they will be celebrating community youth clubs across the country and feature global premieres of new material. The festival is a celebration of music in all its forms!
Walk for Women – International Women’s Day Event

Join the Walk for Women on International Women’s Day to celebrate and campaign for gender equality. This annual event brings people from all walks of life together to advocate for women’s rights and create opportunities for women in Manchester and beyond. The march will include fun, noisy instruments, chants, and the chance to unite with fellow supporters of gender equality. This year’s theme, ‘Accelerate Action,’ calls for urgent action to address the barriers women face.
