We’re thrilled to announce the latest addition to our growing portfolio, the well-known Siemens building, a landmark property situated in Didsbury Technology Park, one of Manchester’s most accessible locations. The building compromises 88,716 sq. ft of office space within a 7-acre plot including four expansive floors of office space ranging from 9,000 sq. ft to 21,000 sq. ft, along with 344 car parking space.
The acquisition marks our third in just three months. Now, with Siemens House, located in the south of the city, we’ve taken another significant step beyond our Ancoats base, where fully let, award-winning developments like One Silk Street, Ice Plant, and Flint Glass Wharf have earned widespread recognition.
The Siemens building fronts the A5103 Princess Parkway, the city’s main arterial road connecting to the M56 with over 74,000 vehicles passing the site daily and has around 330,000 people living within a one-mile radius. Its prime location just 10 minutes from Manchester Airport, 20 minutes from the city centre, and within walking distance of West Didsbury’s vibrant bars, restaurants, shops, and parks, the Siemens building provides exceptional connectivity, making this acquisition an exciting opportunity that further strengthens Northern Group’s footprint across the region.
The building is currently leased with Siemens Headquarters for a minimum of two years, which gives us the opportunity to explore future possibilities for the building and wider sites use beyond that.
